June 19th was a hot evening and 65 hungry folks waited in uncovered seating in a St. Augustine parking lot to eat. For most of these adults and 8 children, this food was the only meal they would eat that day. IAC volunteers surprised the crowd with a delicious Italiano dinner of ziti with meat sauce and garlic bread; 3 salads: green, fruit and 3-bean; topped off by homemade cookies and cakes. After all were served, folks were invited for seconds, some even had 3rds.

IAC generously purchased, prepared and served the meal. Volunteers included Mario, Angelo, Tre, Ryan, Gina, Wanda, Miguel, Linda, Karen, Anne and baked goods were donated by Linda, Mena and Rose.

This labor of love demonstrates the charitable outreach of our Club and helps fulfill our mission of serving others. Mario said "It was a humbling experience to witness the appreciation of the people we served."
